In a blog post on Friday, the company announced that its Everyday Robots Project — an unit under Google’s experimental X laboratories dedicated to creating “a general-purpose learning robot” — has moved out several of its robot prototypes from the lab to some of Google’s Bay Area campuses to do useful cleaning duties. A malware that aims to steal the credentials of STEAM users has cropped up recently. This malware is being spread via the service’s chat feature. It asks users to click on a link which is shortened using the shortening services available on internet. When the user clicks on it, it gets directed to a file stored on Google drive. The file appears to be an image file, complete with an image icon on it....

The latest breach has resulted in the exposure of over 200 gigabytes of confidential data, which includes data of bio-metric unlock operations along with the source code for various technologies. A hacking group, Lapsus$, has taken responsibility for the breach. They also were part of the Nvidia hack, which occurred last week. The South Korean consumer electronics giant issued a media statement stating a “security breach” which exposed the internal company data with no risk to customer and employer data....

YouTuber Mark Spurrell, the owner of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, has modified his Android-based foldable smartphone to create a faux Windows phone on the outside and faux Windows 10 on the inside. While the phone still runs Android OS, the outer display is like a Windows Phone and the internal display is like a full Windows PC or Windows tablet. To make it work, Spurrell used a combination of two separate third-party Android launchers and a Bixby Routine with some tweaks to run a highly customized launcher on top of Android....
